The Global Challenge

Postpartum hemorrhage: a critical maternal-health challenge.

Postpartum hemorrhage can progress rapidly. Timely recognition, evidence-based treatment and coordinated escalation are essential.

Clinical context NEMOW UTD remains investigational and is not a substitute for established clinical protocols.
Understanding PPH

When every minute matters.

Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is excessive bleeding after childbirth and can rapidly become a life-threatening emergency. Uterine atony occurs when the uterus does not contract sufficiently to compress blood vessels after delivery of the placenta.

Established care remains essential

PPH requires immediate assessment and management under established clinical protocols, which may include resuscitation, uterotonics, tranexamic acid when indicated, blood products, evaluation of the cause, and escalation when needed.

When medications are not enough

Severe bleeding can remain difficult to control and may require additional procedures. NEMOW is exploring an investigational technology concept intended to address uterine bleeding associated with atony.

Important information

The NEMOW UTD is investigational.

Clinical studies are needed to evaluate its safety and effectiveness. It is not a replacement for standard care and should not be represented as approved, cleared, or available for clinical use unless authorized by the relevant regulator.
